Peter Basso Associates, Inc., a leading Mechanical and Electrical Engineering consulting firm, is in search of an experienced marketer to join our team in Troy, MI!

About the Job:

As our Director of Marketing, you will lead our Marketing Department and take responsibility for the firm’s overall marketing program and strategy as well as represent the firm to clients, peer organizations, and business associates. We offer a fast-paced environment where you will work alongside company leadership to develop and implement strategic marketing plans and supporting credentials, presentations, and promotional materials. In this role, you’ll rely on your deep knowledge of professional services marketing methods and techniques.

You’ll use your knack for creativity in problem solving as you lead members of the Marketing Department in all aspects of marketing, public relations, and business development.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience, education, or qualifications:

• Thorough knowledge of marketing principles, terminology, and procedures
• Experience creating and implementing strategic marketing plans
• Experience with developing and maintaining website content and knowledge of website hosting platforms
• Strong leadership/managerial and mentoring skills
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Suite of products
• Experience with inbound marketing, thought leadership, and promoting Subject Matter Experts
• Demonstrates persistence and creativity in problem solving
• Self-starter; able to work without supervision and in a team environment
• Knowledge of basic graphic design principles
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or related field
• 5-8 years of marketing experience (8-12 years without a college degree)
