Entry Level Mechanical Engineer

As a Mechanical Engineer with PBA, you will be part of an exceptional team of professionals who design high-performing buildings. You will be responsible for the design of HVAC systems including load calculations, energy simulations and analysis, equipment sizing and selection, and more. At Peter Basso Associates, you will be part of a team of building system experts including Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Structural Engineers, Architects, and other specialists who deliver integrated solutions that are appropriate, efficient, and sustainable. Additionally, you will provide periodic site observations and support projects through construction and initial occupancy.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following experience, education, or qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering from an accredited university
• 3-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer
• Solid understanding of Mechanical engineering fundamentals
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit is desirable, but not necessary
• Prior experience in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) or Facilities Management industry is a plus
• Candidates who have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam is a plus!
