Gage Products was eager to consolidate their laboratory and testing operations into one 5,000 sf facility, which would in turn, double their existing laboratory space.
Peter Basso Associates provided MEP engineering services for the complete renovation of Gage Products’ 5,000 sf Innovation Center Ferndale, Michigan. Gage specializes in what is called a “closed-loop” recycling process for paint solvents that are used by Chrysler, Ford, General Motors and other automobile manufacturers around the world. All of Gage’s existing laboratory and testing facilities were consolidated into a single building and the existing labs were nearly doubled. The renovated facility also expanded the capabilities of the company’s in-house research and development. PBA provided services that enabled Gage Products to operate all of their processes under one consolidated space by providing ME engineering design services for the following:
