Peter Basso Associates, Inc., a leading Mechanical and Electrical Engineering consulting firm, is in search of an experienced Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to join our team in Troy, MI! This professional will have an in-depth knowledge of building mechanical and temperature controls systems and experience with commissioning services.
As our Mechanical Commissioning Engineer, you will use your expertise to provide commissioning services for new and existing buildings. As a member of an exceptional team of both Electrical and Mechanical Commissioning professionals, you’ll perform mechanical engineering document and shop drawing peer reviews, prepare mechanical systems/equipment commissioning documents, and more. You’ll also have the opportunity to work in the field conducting installation reviews of mechanical systems/equipment including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, plumbing systems, fire protection systems, and building automation systems, as well as witness functional testing of mechanical systems. A good working knowledge of building electrical systems and equipment is also desirable. In this position, you will also be using your writing and communication skills frequently as you produce Commissioning reports and meeting minutes.
