PBA’s co-op/internship program affords college students the opportunity to experience hands-on learning by our professionals skilled in the disciplines of mechanical and electrical engineering, as well as the fields of energy management, commissioning, building technology, and architectural lighting design. Students learn about MEP engineering and the tools used to design and construct facilities in the markets of higher education, k-12 schools, healthcare/labs, and corporate/government entities. Our group leaders and senior staff foster an atmosphere of engagement and inclusiveness - co-op students feel as though they are part of the company, and they often become full-time employees upon graduation. Approximately 30% of Peter Basso Associates current staff started as co-op students at PBA.
