Molecular Imaging Maintenance Updates 5-Year Plan Mechanical and Electrical Systems Assessment | Ann Arbor, MI

Existing MEP systems and equipment were evaluated including each piece of HVAC equipment and each system as a whole. Current system redundancies and back/up power (natural gas-powered generator) for critical areas were also evaluated.
A comprehensive report on the existing equipment and systems was provided to the  client in addition to a comprehensive 5-year plan for MEP systems. Appropriate MEP systems to support the current building as well as future operations (5 years) were recommended along with a strategic, cost/effective approach for the installation, expansion, and replacement of the systems.

Sparrow Ionia Critical Access Hospital | Ionia, MI

Sparrow Ionia Hospital is a total replacement acute access hospital comprised of 65,600 square feet of floor area on two levels.  The facility includes 22 inpatient beds--including ICU and isolations rooms--two operating rooms with provisions for additional operating and endoscopy rooms, emergency department, diagnostic and treatment areas, radiology, laboratory, kitchen, and all required support spaces and functions for a complete critical access hospital.  - Learn More...



St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Patient Tower | Pontiac, MI

Peter Basso Associates provided mechanical and electrical engineering design services for the new South Patient Tower, an eight-story, contemporary-styled patient facility, which features 204 private, technologically enhanced patient rooms. This two-year, three-phase project also consisted of construction of a maintenance substation, a patient/visitor parking lot, and an enclosed walkway over Woodward Avenue to connect the facility and parking.


Mendelson Kornblum Orthopedic | Livonia, MI

PBA provided MEP engineering and architectural lighting design services for this 40,000 sf new stand-alone medical office building which includes 23,000 sf of medical office space, 2,000 sf of retail office space, 4,000 sf of physical therapy space, 1,000 sf of general office space amd 10,000 sf of ambulatory surgery space.
